### Why is an OP-AMP used most commonly as an integrator and not as a differentiator?

When an OP-AMP is used as a differentiator at high frequency, gain is high. Then the high-frequency noise signal is amplified and more noise signal is present in output signal. Therefore, an OP-AMP is most commonly used as an integrator and not as a differentiator.
