Define beta cut-off and alpha cut-off frequencies. Write the relationship between fα and fβ.

The beta cut-off frequency fβ is defined as the frequency at which, common emitter current gain hfe drops to 0.707 times of its low-frequency value. The alpha cut-off frequency fα is defined as the frequency at which common-base current gain hfb drops to 0.707 times of its low-frequency value. The relation between  fα and fβ is  or fβ = (1 – α0)fα.
