The term ‘minor’ is explained in Sec. 3 of the Indian Majority Act, 1875, which reads as under: “A minor is a person who has not completed eighteen years of age”.
In case where guardian is appointed to the property or person of the minor by the court or When minor’s property has passed under the Court of wards, then minor will attain majority on completion of 21 years of age.
