If the Trial Balance does not agree, the difference is put to Suspense A/c. If the debit total in Trial Balance is lesser than the credit total, Suspense Account is created on the debit side and vice-versa. This account is prepared in order to avoid delay in the preparation of financial statements. Suspense A/c on credit side of Trial Balance will be entered on the liabilities side of Balance Sheet. Suspense A/c on debit side of Trial Balance will be entered on the assets side of Balance Sheet.
