Addition and Subtraction of Algebraic Expressions
To add or subtract two or more algebraic expressions arrange their terms and combine the like terms of each expression to find their sum or difference accordingly.
When we have three expressions, write each expression in separate rows, with like terms one below the other.
Arrange the terms x2, x and constant separately.
In the third row terms in yz & y are absent. For our convenience we put zero for those terms.
