Types of SolutionsSolutions can be classified depending upon the amount of solute dissolved:
1. The unsaturated solution is one in which more solute can be dissolved without increasing the temperature.
2. A saturated solution is one in which the maximum possible amount of a solute is dissolved at a given temperature. In a saturated solution dissolved and undissolved solutes are in equilibrium with each other.
3. A super saturated solution is one in which the amount of solute is more than the saturation concentration.
