Outsourcing is one of the major results of globalization. Here, a company uses the services of external agencies situated in other nations for jobs which were previously done within the country itself. For example, legal advice, compute services, security etc. Outsourcing has grown as an economic activity particularly in the field of Information technology(IT). Services like voice based business processes (BPO or call centre), record keeping, accountancy, banking services, film editing, music recording, clinical or legal advice and even teaching have been outsourced from developed nations to India. Aiding outsourcing are modern telecommunication links which include the Internet, and digitalization and transmission of text, voice and visuals. India is turning into an outsourcing hub attracting many multinational and smaller companies too because of the cheap labour and reasonable degree of skill and accuracy.
