# Range of a Function

Let f be a function from A to B. The range of f is the set {f(x) |x ∈ A}. That is, range of f consists of images of all elements in A.

Illustration
Let f: N → N be a function defined by f (x) = x2.
The range of f is {1, 4, 9, 16, ...}
In the function given below

The range is {wild animals}. Clearly you can see that range is the subset of the codomain.
