# Base System

In our decimal system of writing the numbers, we use 10 digits (0 âˆ’ 9). In this system, largest number of single digit = 9, and the moment we have to form a number bigger than this number we need two-digit numbers starting from 10. Similarly, largest number of two digits = 99 and after this we have 100, a number of three digits.

Lets assume a system of writing where we use only 6 digits (0 âˆ’ 5). Largest single digit number in this system will be 5 and next to this will be 10. Similarly, largest two digit number will be 55 and next to this is 100.
