What are the values of x and y that satisfy both the equations?
|A||x = 2, y = 5|
|B||x = 2.5, y = 6|
|C||x = 3, y = 5|
|D||x = 3, y = 4|
|E||x = 5, y = 2|
Equation (ii) can be written as
0.6x = 3, so, x = 5 and 0.4y = 4/5, hence y = 2.
If we put the values of x and y in first equation these values satisfy the first equation also.
So the answer is x = 5, y = 2
