Amelan Peel

Amelan peel is a line of products intended to maintain the thickness of the stratum corneum and dermoepidermal cell renewal.

It contains phenol, trichloroacetic acid, retinoic acid & a mixture of hydroxy acids (glycolic, ascorbic, salicylic, mandelic) with phytic acids. It can be used on any area of the body.



  • Superficial wrinkles.
  • PIH.
  • Resistant pigmentation.
  • Deep Amyloid pigmentation.
  • Dermal pigmentation


  • Cleanse the required area.
  • pply 1-2 coats depending on the severity of the pigments. In patients with skin types 4, 5 & 6, don’t exceed more than 1 coat in the first session and not more than 2 coats in later sessions.
  • Allow skin to dry completely between the coats.
  • A maximum application of 5ml product is recommended per session.
  • After the procedure apply Retinol cream 10% and leave it for 5 mins.
  • Use water after 12 hrs of treatment.
  • Client is strictly advised to avoid direct sun-exposure or remain indoors.
  • Moisturisation is a must after this treatment.
  • Results are seen in 7days. There is renewed and bright complexion, homogenous skin colour and texture.
  • Treatment can be repeated after 21days.
  • The beauty of this treatment is it induces neither hypo nor hyper-pigmentation.
  • Lastly apply sunscreen.

Difference between PHA and Amelan:



1. Medium depth peel.

1.  Deep acting peel.

2. Combination of alpha, beta, gamma hydroxyl acids.

2. Combination of phenol, TCA, alpha hydroxy, Retinol, Phytic.

3. Requires neutralizer.

3.  Does not require neutralizer.

4. Water can be used after treatment.

4. No water to be used until 12 hrs after treatment.

5. Does not require Retinol cream.

5. Retinol cream to be used after the peel.

6. No peeling of skin is visible.

6. Peeling & scaling of skin occurs 3-4 days after treatment.

7. Follow-up of the treatment after 2 weeks.

7. Treatment can be repeated after 2-3 weeks.
