(Joule BurnQ- These marks are round or oval, shallow crater 1 to 3 cm in diameter and has a ridge of skin of about one to 3 mm high around part or the whole of their circumference. The crater floor is lined by pale flattened skin.
a. The mark may be present as a circular hole, penetrating skin, muscles and even bone, so as to simulate a bullet wound.
b. These electric marks are produced by the conversion of electricity into heat within the tissue.
c. They are commonly found on exposed parts of the body, especially on the palmar aspect of the hands.)
