Short acting budesonide
a. Tolerance is a potential problem with β2 -agonists.
b. So, β2 agonists should not be used dn any regular schedule -+ due to tolerance, bronchial hyperactivity not reduced on continuous use.
It is advised that patients’ requiring regular medication should be treated with inhaled steroids and use of β2 agonist inhaler should be restricted to symptomatic relief of an acute attack.
