A 6 years female child has urine retention and constipation. On imaging studies, a retrorectal complex mass was found. The likely diagnosis is?
a. SCT is seen in 1 in every 35,000 live births, and is the most common tumor presenting in the newborn
b. Derived from more than one embryonic germ layer.
c. These are potentially malignant neoplasms, composed of a wide diversity of tissues foreign to the anatomic site in which they arise.
d. They are mostly gonadal in origin and rarely present at extra-gonadal locations.
e. They are of two types' i.e. benign (mature cystic teratoma) and malignant (immature teratoma).
f. Ultrasonography and the early detection of associated complications have improved the perinatal mortality rate for this condition.
g. Standard treatment for SCT is complete excision soon after birth.
