a. Respiratory insufficiency after upper respiratory tract infection is the c/assicp resentation of bronchiolitis.

Treatment of Bronchiolitis -

a. Treatment is essentially symptomatic.

b. The child should be nursed in humid atmosphere.

c. O2 - remains the mainstay of treatment-

d. Antibiotics - Though antibiotics have no role* but Ribavarin can sometime be used.

e. If fever is present antipyretics can be used.

f. Continuous positive airway pressure.

g. β2 adrenergic drugs and Ipratropium bromide are also not recommended for infants < 6 months.
