All are true about streptococcal infections except
|A||Pharyngitis more common in age group of 5-15years|
|B||Impetigo is more common in age <3yrs|
|C||15-20% normally carry the organism in upper respiratory tract|
|D||Scarlet fever is more common now days|
a. Pharyngitis is rare in children less than 3 years of age.
b. However, impetigo is seen more commonly in younger children.
c. Scarlet fever consists of pharyngitis and rash. Due to unknown reasons, it has become less common in recent years.
