NK cells are lymphocytes, which belong to null cells.
They are neither T cells nor B cells. These cells are also called as large granular lymphocytes. These cells contain CD16 and CD56 on their surface. These cells are antiviral, antitumor and are also involved in antibody dependant cell cytotoxicity (ADCC).
