All are true regarding halothane except:
|B||Boils at 50°C|
|C||It is stable when exposed to light|
|D||Heavy, colourless with characteristic sweet odor|
It is stable when exposed to light
Halothane is non inflammable with boiling point 50°C. It is colourless and sweet smelling so induction is very smooth. It is unstable and is decomposed when exposed to light and that is why it is stored in amber coloured bottles and thymol is used as preservative in it.
