About thyroid lymphoma:
a. Often arises in back ground of Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
b. Presents as rapidly enlarging thyroid mass
c. MC type- diffuse large cell variant
d. Histology shows: sheets of lymphoid cells
a. Highly sensitive to external radiation
b. Surgical resection avoided as initial therapy as it may lead to spread of disease.
c. If staging indicates disease outside thyroid, treat on lines of any other Lymphoma.
