a. The cardinal signs of osteoarthritis are 'asymmetric narrowing of joint space', sclerosis of the subchondral bone under the area of cartilage loss, cysts close to the joint surface and osteophytes at the margins of the joint.
b. Pannus is not a radiological feature in the first place, it is the hypertropnied and inflamed synovium which is a pathological feature of RA.
