1. Treatment of acute anterior uveitis- dilatation of the pupil and relaxation of the ciliary muscle with cycloplegics such as atropine Q 1 %, cyclopentolate, or homatropine 2% .

2. Pilocarpine is direct acting parasympathomimetic pilocarpine causes contraction of longitudinal muscle of ciliary body and opens space in trabecular meshwork (it is contraindicated in anterior uveitis) [229-KH]
