  1. Secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis, reaches middle ear through Eutachian Tube
  2. Sometimes blood borne
  3. Clinical features:
    1. Painless otorrhea
    2. Fails to respond to topical treatment
    3. Pale exuberant granulations
    4. Some show multiple tympanic membrane perforation.
    5. Hearing loss is greater than what may be otherwise accepted, conductive usually
  4. Complications:
    1. Facial palsy → Common complication may have sudden onset
    2. Mastoiditis
    3. Sensorineural hearing loss
    4. Labyrinthitis
  5. Treatment:
    ATT Surgery to remove the sequestra and to improve drainage.
