Ans. C Pepsin :The site of action of trypsin, chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidase is small intestine which has the a pH of around 8 and hence these act best in alkaline pH where as pepsin acts mainly in stomach at a pH of around 2.0. Thus pepsin is the obvious answer.
