(Rule of Hasse (1895 a rough method of calculating the age of the fetus by measuring the crown to heel length of the fetus in cms. During the first 5 mths of pregnancy, square root of length is equal to the fetal age in months and during the last 5 mths the length divided by 5 gives the age in months.
