Cadaveric Spasm occurs immediately after death, involves only the affected group of voluntary muscles, is a simulation of rigor mortis, in fact normal rigor develops after cadaveric spasm followed by normal putrefaction according to time. Rigor mortis begins 1-2 hours after death and takes further 1-2 hours to develop, while Cadaveric spasm occurs immediately after death.
