Herpes zoster oticus I Ramsay Hunt syndrome -
- It is-herpetic vesicular rash on the cochlea, external auditory canal or pinna with lower motor neuron palsy of the ipsilateral facial nerve.
- It is k/a Ramsay-Hunt syndrome following the first description of 00 cases by John Ramsay hunt in 1907.
- It may beaccompanied by anesthesia of face, giddiness and hearing impairment due to involvement ofVth and Vilith nerve.
