ankle, it may either partial or complete

Lateral ligament it has three parts

a. Anterior talo-fibular

b. Calcaneeo-fibular in the middle

c. Posterior talo-fibular Extensor digitorum brevis -a small muscle situated on the lateral part of the foot, deep to the tendons of the extensor digitorum longus

A. The medial margin of the sustentaculum tali is related to the tendon of the FDL and provides attachment to

i. Spring ligament anteriorly

ii. Slip from the tibialis posterior in the middle

iii. Some of the superficial fibres of deltoid ligament along the whole length
