Choriocarcinoma is frequently very aggressive and metastasizes to lung, liver, and, less often, the brain. This neoplasm, even with metastasis, is readily responsive to chemotherapy with complete, permanent remissions in more than 90% of cases. Theca lutein ovarian cysts are commonly found in association with these lesions.
