Impetigo is the most common bacterial skin infection in children and manifests as thin, superficial vesiculopustular which soon rupture to form a honey colored crusts with a stuck on appearance. Bullous lesions can also occur in neonates and infants (bullous impetigo) which on rupture spread peripherally causing annular lesions.
