"Lepromin test is a prognostic test not a diagnostic test. It is employed for following purposes.
1. To classify lesion of leprosy patients.
2. To assess prognosis
3. To assess response to treatment
4. To verify identity of candidate lepra bacilli.
In the 1st 6 month Reaction is usually negative BCG vaccination may convert negative reaction into positive one.
