I. When pressure is expressed in atmospheric (1 atmospheric = 760 mmHg) and conc. is expressed in volume of gas dissolved in each volume of water, the solubility coefficient for gases at body temperature.

III. Conc Of O2 in blood

= 0.025 ml/ml

= 2.5 ml/L

IV. We know that normal dissolved O2 is 0.3 ml% gives a PaO2 of around 95-98 mm Hg( ~ 100 mm Hg)

V. So, 0.25ml% would give roughly 80 mm Hg.
