Most common cause of ICU infection is urinary (40%) followed by wound infection (30%), pulmonary and venous catheter (5-1 0%). Humidified oxygen by improving the ciliary activity will make patient able to clear his secretion thereby reducing the chances of nosocomial pneumonias.
