Stein-Leventhal syndrome also known as PCOD is associated infrequently with primary amenorrhea.

1. Primary amenorrhoea - is seen in M. R.K.H. syndrome, resistant ovarian syndrome, ovarian dysgenesis, testicular feminizing syndrome, anorexia nervosa Hypothalamus olfactory syndrome, prolactinoma, Gonadal dysgenesis- Turner’s syndrome, ovarian failure etc.

2. Secondary amenorrhoea - Physiological, acquired obstruction, Simmond's disease, Sheehan syndrome chiari Frommel syndrome, Adreno-genital syndrome, additions disease

*Stein Leventhal syndrome (PCOD) in common in young women DM, TB, anemia and renal diseases
