Pseudo arthrosis - discontinuity of the bone at the junction of the middle and distal thirds or beyond is present at birth or develops thereafter during growth period.

c. Congenital pseudo arthrosis of the tibia is characterized by indolence of the fragments, minimal callus formation and nonunion.
3 clinical forms of the conditions may be recognized
(1) Associated with neurofibromatosis
(2) Associated with fibrous dysplasia
(3) Associated with anterior bowing of the tibia.
