a. Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita is characterized by flattened vertebral bodies, hyperlordosis of the lumbar spine, and a dysplastic odontoid process, which can lead to atlantoaxial instability.
b. Coxa vara is frequently seen and may be severe. Scoliosis and kyphosis develop in late childhood or early adolescence. Talipes equinovarus is also associated with this syndrome.
