Ketamine does not have any antiemetic property. Nausea and vomiting is most common post operative complication. Drugs usually used for treatment are:
a. Ondansetron (5 HP antagonist)
d. Phenothiazines (Stemetil)
Propofol although not used as routine for treatment of post operative nausea, vomiting but is a strong antiemetic and can be utilized. Steroids do play some role In ocular surgery.
