a. Diuretics cause K+ which can lead to digitalis induced arrhythmias; K+ supplements may by given along with diuretics.

b. Quinidine reduces binding of digoxin to tissue proteins as well as its renal and biliary clearance à plasma concentration of digitalis is doubled àtoxicity can occur.

c. Cholestyramine bind and reduce the absorption of many orally administered drugs such as digoxin, warfarin, HMG-CoA inhibitors, phenylbutazone, thiazides, barbiturates etc.
