Blepharospasm is commoner in females than males. The condition is idiopathic and brain scan is not required unless there is unusual feature. Facial nerve compression by artery is common in hemifacial spasm. Botulinum toxin is the treatment of choice. For bcepharospasm Neuroleptic drug causes tardive dyskinesia.
