The most common cause of morbidity and mortality in patient undergoing major vascular surgery is
The vascular surgery (particularly aortic surgeries) are one of the greatest challenge for anaesthesiologist because of high morbidity and mortality during vascular surgeries due to cardiac complications which include:
a. Sudden and profuse haemorrhage
b. Extreme punctuation in circulatory dynamics.
c. Left ventricular failure due to sudden increase in left ventricular load which is due to aortic cross clamping.
d. Compromised organ perfusion distal to clamping.
e. Severe hypertension.
f. Myocardial ischemia.
