Untrue about succinylcholine (suxam-ethonium):
|A||Stored in refrigerator|
|B||Should be given very slowly|
|C||Dose is 1-1, 5 mg/kg|
|D||Metabolized by pseudocholinesterase|
Should be given very slowly
Succinylcholine is metabolized by pseudocholinesterase which is present in plasma so to avoid immediate I metabolism it should be given very fast. It is hydrolyzed at room temperature so should be stored at 4°C. Dose is 1-1.5 mg/kg.
