Ans. A Lung hypoplasia

Neurofibromatosis:

a. Type I (von. Recklinghausen's disease)

i. Characterized by neurofibroma; cafe-au-lait spots and Lisch nodules in eyes.

ii. Other features are axillary freckling and pseudoarthrosis of the tibia.

iii. Scoliosis; hypertension; hydrocephalus; epilepsy and mental retardation may occur.

iv. Increased risk of developing plexiform neurofibroma; optic, glioma pheochromocytoma and meningioma.

b. Type II:

i. Characterized by B/L acoustic schwannomas.

ii. Increased risk of meningioma; glioma and schwannoma.

iii. Juvenile posterior subcapsular lenticular opacity is seen.

iv. Cafe-au-lait spots and peripheral neurofibromas are rare.
