1). Below is the utility of lepromin test in classifying case according to ridley jopling classification

2). The Ridley-Jopling classification combines clinical, histopathological, and immunological criteria to identify five forms of leprosy: tuberculoid (TT), borderline tuberculoid (BT), mid-borderline (BB), borderline lepromatous (BL), and lepromatous (LL) leprosy.

Those at one end of the spectrum, with a high level of immunity harbour a low number of bacilli and are termed Paucibacillary. Those with many bacilli in the body are referred to as multibacillary or MB cases.
