Syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone (SIADH) is due to excessive secretion of Arginine vasopressin (AVP) : Drugs that block the effect of Arginine vasopressin (AVP) on the renal tubule are sometimes useful. Demeclocycline is the most potent inhibitor of AVP action available for chronic administration.

Remember: Tetracycline’s (Demeclocycline) causes Diabetes Insipidus. So the treatment of SIADH is by inducing DI .
