Thrombocytopenia [Ref Nelson 18th/e p. 1043, 1044]
a. HSP is characterized by tetrad of palpable purpura, arthritis, glomerulonephritis and abdominal pain.
b. Less common skin lesions are; nonpalpable macules & patches, urticaria, bullous lesions, vesicles, splinter hemorrhage and ulcerations.
c. Rarely epistaxis may occur.
