Input Impedance of Transmission Line

Input impedance is the line impedance seen at the beginning of a transmission line. The input impedance at any point on the transmission line is given by the ratio of voltage to current at that point.
Reflection coefficient of a transmission line is defined as the ratio of the reflected voltage wave to the transmitted voltage wave. This is a function of position along the line.
