Cone and Shpere

Cone :

Volume = 1/3 r2h = Where ‘r’ = radius of the cone and h = Height of the cone.

Surface Area (curved) = Curved part of the cone rl where l = slant height. Also l2 = r2 + h2.

Surface Area (total) = Curved surface area + one circle at the base rl + r2.

Sphere :

Volume = 4/3 r3.

Surface Area (curved and total) = 4 r2.

Hemisphere ⇒ A sphere is just like a half ball.

Volume = 2/3 r3. Surface Area (curved) = 2 r2.

Surface Area (Total) = 2 r2 + r2  ⇒ 3r2.
