Read the following information carefully and answer the questions given below :

A, B, C, D, E, F and G are seven students in a class. They are sitting on three benches I, II and III in such a way that there are at least two of them on each bench and there is at least one girl on each bench. C, a girl student, does not sit with A, E and D. F, a boy student, sits with only B. A sits with his best friend in bench I. G sits on bench iii. E is brother of C.


   On which bench do three students sit?

F is a boy and sits with only B. Since, A sits on bench I and G on bench III, so B and F sit on bench II. Since there is at least one girl on each bench, so B is a girl. C doesn’t sit with A, E and D. so, C may sit with B, F and/or G. But B and F sit together. So, C sits with G on bench III. Since C is a girl, so G may be a boy or a girl. Thus, remaining 3 students – A, D and E sit on bench I. A is a boy, E (brother of C) is a boy. So, D must be a girl.

Three students – A, D and E – sit on bench I.
