If sum of Rs.1000. & Rs.100 is invested it yields Rs.90& Rs.20 respectively then to get Rs.50 how much should be invested? (Plz elaborate)
Yes I got it Samiksha thanks and sry I got confuse bcz in 2nd sentence u hv written 40 instead of 20
Use y=mx+c formula y=investment, x=interest
I didn't got d logic of income decreased by 70
How it is 90-20?
Thanks a lot
1000 investment 90 income. 100 investment 40 income. Hence wen investment decreases by 900(1000-100) then income decreases by 70(90-20) similarly wen income decreases by 40(90-50) then investment decreases by 900*40/70=514 ( use cross multiplication) so investment is 486(1000-514)
A.less than 500
