The acts of partners bind the firm towards the outside world. Likewise, the acts of the firm bind the partners. Therefore, it is imperative that the partners conduct themselves in a very positive, correct and disciplined manner in carrying out the activities of the firm. The relation of partners of a firm to one another is usually governed by the agreement among them. Such an agreement may be expressed or implied and may vary with the consent of all the partners. When there is no specific agreement or the agreement is silent on certain points, the relation of partners to one another with regard to the rights and duties is governed by Sec. 9 to Sec. 17 of The Partnership Act.
