Pending Interrupts

The 8085 microprocessor has five interrupt lines. Only one interrupt may occur during an ISR and other interrupts remain pending. If more than one interrupt wants service simultaneously, the microprocessor can only respond to one interrupt at a time. Therefore, some priority has been assigned to different interrupt lines which allows their signals to reach the microprocessor according to the priority.
